Discover Korbel event videos are now live!

I am pleased to announce the launch of our Discover Korbel event videos! Thanks to student employee, Erica King for filming, editing and posting these videos.

Due to YouTube’s eight  minute time constraint, each session was condensed from 30-45 minute discussions. We also offered a campus tour (a snazzy, more extensive campus tour video will be posted at the end of May), a current student only panel (because administration was not involved in this event and it was a private – student only discussion, this session was not filmed) an alumni panel (due to high security positions held by a couple of these alums, we are unable to post this video) and a wine and cheese event. I hope you find these videos informative!

Career and Professional Development session – administration
Career and Professional Development session – students
Career and Professional Development session – Q&A
Student Affairs session

Enjoy and let us know if you have additional questions!

Nicole

The tables have turned. Time for us to wait.

We spent the past two months examining your application and analyzing your personal statement.  As we read through your file, you waited patiently for our response. Ok, I realize “patiently” may not be the right term as the past two months may have been agonizing. Hopefully, doubt, irritation, and anxiety were quickly replaced with excitement and relief when your admission email arrived–but here’s the thing; the tables have turned. Now we are the ones who must wait for your response and yes, we are anxious, eager and hopeful the decision is positive.

Many of you have contacted us for the date by which you must respond. Make sure to scroll down to page two of your admission letter where you will find the date by which a response is required. Others of you have noted that you’re having trouble logging into Webcentral. If this is the case, please contact the University of Denver helpdesk for assistance logging in. Make sure to have your 87XXXXXX number handy when you call them.

Because we’re really bad at waiting, I invite you to contact us with questions, attend our admitted student days (April 7th and 8th) and let us know if you need anything.  Hopefully you’ll be receiving a phone call from a current student, so make sure you ask them questions when they call.
