The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Fellowship Program is a joint program with Howard University and USAID for graduate students who wish to pursue a career in the Foreign Service of the USAID. Fellowship recipients have the opportunity to work directly in some of the most pressing global issues – poverty, hunger, injustice, disease, environmental degradation, conflict resolution, etc. – while advancing U.S. foreign policy and American support of human rights.
The Payne Fellowship can provide up to $90,000 in aid over two years of graduate school.
