Please read this as a friendly piece of advice rather than a rant. With that disclaimer, I shall proceed.
I’ve noticed a trend of prospective students showing up for their scheduled meetings with our office up to 2 hours early. I’m a farm kid from Iowa who was raised with the motto “early is on time, on time is late and late is rude”, I’m all for being punctual, but keep in mind that arriving too early is the same as arriving late. If you have a scheduled meeting for 2PM, consider arriving around 1:52PM. We tend to have numerous meetings and appointments throughout the day, so arriving an hour before your meeting may mean you need to wait for 60 minutes.
Obviously, you cannot be denied admission because of an overly early arrival time. With that, continue to come visit us.
